Bill Vanryne coming to Pinewood in January
Bill Vanryne, who was involved with the Bluebird Project at Coniston, is holding a talk at Bracknell Railway Society headquarters, Pinewood Leisure Centre, on Friday 28th January 2011.
Vanryne will be talking about Donald Campbell, who between himself and his father set eleven land and water speed records, and the famous Bluebird boat.

New club for autistic train fans in Reading
A new monthly train club is being launched aimed especially at locomotive fans on the autistic spectrum.
The Engine Shed will meet at the Katesgrove Children’s Centre, Reading, and the first session will take place tonight.

Boxing day at Jocks Lane Miniature Railway
The Traditional Boxing Day Meet at Jocks Lane from 10am till around lunchtime (as if you need lunch after yesterday!) is on as usual this year.
The format will be familiar: Bring a Loco; bring the spouse; bring a turkey sandwich; bring a friend, but most of all bring yourself.
All members welcome, not just the Motive Power regulars.
